Pastor recommendations:
In such a mobile, and electronic age when those we are seeking to serve are more busy with their personal lives than ever before, let me recommend this valuable, time-saving and incredible ministry tool. With the divorce rate at an all time high, we must do all we can at the front door that our couples have every chance of success that we can provide.
Sam and Debbie Wood from Family Fortress ministries have developed a very extensive approach to pre-marital training that we at FBC Indian Trail have found to be invaluable. Not only does this internet driven approach afford the prospective couple convenience, but also lifts a great load from the counselor. The gathered information provided to the counselor enables them to have a much better handle on sensitive issues that may need to be addressed prior to the wedding ceremony.
I wholeheartedly recommend this biblical approach to aiding both the wedding party and the spiritual advisor.
Dr. Michael T. Whitson, Sr. Pastor First Baptist Church Indian Trail, Indian Trail, NC
After reviewing the Preparing for Partnership course material and using it on "test" couples, we have implemented, and now require, its use for all the couples within our church who are preparing for marriage. It has been received with great approval. Plus, it has proven to be a great asset to our staff regarding the time saved and subjects covered in premarital training. The material is totally immersed in Biblical principle and concept. No pastor should ever fear that this course is teaching anything, or asking anything, that would be contrary to the Word of God. I not only heartily endorse and recommend this course for any couple contemplating marriage, I feel that it is a tool that our church (or any church) would be remiss in NOT using it.
Rev. Bill Hegedus, Bible Baptist Church - Hasbrouck Heights, NJ
There are many aspects of relationships that soon-to-be-married couples must consider. Relationship expectations, gender roles, and finances are just a few of the issues that must be addressed BEFORE marriage. The Preparing for Partnership program does that and much more. It goes beyond the standard "things you need to know before you tie the knot", it goes to the very core of what should be at the heart of every marriage: a relationship with God. By asking participants to explore themselves and their own connection with the Lord, it initiates the conversations that must take place within a God-centered relationship that will truly help the couple realize the role God must play in their upcoming marriage. I will recommend the Preparing for Partnership to any couple looking to place God at the center of their relationship.

I highly recommend this course for pre-marital training. It's outstanding and will help a marriage start out strong so that it might finish strong. I have used it with couples I have trained with great benefit.
Pastor Rick Johnson, Friendship Baptist Church, Huntsville, AL
The Preparing For Partnership course has become an essential tool in helping me prepare couples for marriage. I am thankful for the depth of the lessons and the use of technology to assist me in pre-marital training. I appreciate what Sam and Debbie have developed, and I highly recommend it as an invaluable tool to every pastor and trainer who is involved in pre-marital instruction. It will sharpen your preparation and focus in your sessions with the engaged couple.
